Google has introduced a feature for UK users that lets you choose which publications appear in your search results. The Liverpool ECHO is encouraging Everton FC fans to add the outlet as a preferred source so Blues news shows up first.
How to set the ECHO as a preferred source
To add the ECHO, scroll to the bottom of the text in this article and look for the Google G logo and the button labelled 'Add as preferred source on Google'. One more click confirms your choice, and you will start seeing more ECHO content in your Google news feed.
Alternative method via Google search
Alternatively, search for a topic on Google, such as Everton FC. Where it says 'Top Stories' on the results, click 'customise' and type Liverpool ECHO in the box. When prompted, select the publication.
Once added, you will receive more of your favourite Everton FC content from the ECHO in your Google search results.
