Survival scrap intensifies
By Harry Bamforth
Tonight. Is. Huge. It is a night that could decide who stays up and who goes down: will it be Tottenham or West Ham?
The Hammers are on their last legs after late heartbreak at home to Arsenal yesterday. It is like when a boxer has been stunned by a right hand and their legs are wobbling, they are doing everything they can to stay on their feet. But tonight, Spurs could provide the punch that sends them down to the canvas.
Roberto De Zerbi's men could pull four points clear of West Ham with a win over Leeds tonight, with just two games left to play. That would surely be too big a gap for the Hammers to bridge.
Many would argue that this game is even bigger for Spurs than last season's Europa League final. A club of their size simply cannot afford to go down.
Leeds are on the beach now, they are safe, but I am sure they will still want to have their say in this scrap for survival. So, without further ado, let us get this show on the road.
