Dermot O'Leary's £8m Fortune as He Launches New ITV Show

Dermot O'Leary has amassed an estimated £8 million fortune through his long-running career in television and radio. The 53-year-old presenter, known for hosting The X Factor and ITV's This Morning, is set to launch the second series of his culinary travel show, Dermot's Taste of Ireland, on ITV1 on Saturday, May 2.

O'Leary began his media journey at Essex Radio before moving to XFM and joining BBC Radio 2 in 2004, where he now hosts the Saturday morning breakfast show. His television career took off after presenting Big Brother's Little Brother and the reality series Shattered, leading to his big break as host of The X Factor in 2007, a role he held for eight years before briefly stepping away and later returning.

Since leaving The X Factor, O'Leary has taken on high-profile gigs including the National Television Awards, Soccer Aid, and the Brit Awards. He currently co-hosts This Morning on Fridays with Alison Hammond. His new ITV show, Dermot's Taste of Ireland, sees him exploring Irish cuisine and culture, starting at Blackhead Lighthouse in County Antrim.
