Wonderskin's cult lip tints, known for their bold claim of lasting 'all day,' are now discounted by more than 20 per cent during Amazon Prime Day, dropping from £18 to £13. The brand, wildly popular in the US, has garnered a dedicated following for its vegan, long-lasting makeup. But does the product live up to the hype? Our reviewer put it to the test.
What is Wonderskin Makeup?
The all-vegan range began with Wonder Blading Lip Stain Masques, promising no-fade colour that lasts all day, even under lip balm. The formula applies as a metallic blue that transforms into a stain after removal. Available in 16 shades from nudes to berries, the product is buildable for a richer look. An optional Activator spray, made from a seaweed polymer, creates a peel-off film to extend wear.
Testing the Lip Stain
The reviewer applied two coats of the shade 'Divine' (a deep burgundy) at 11:30 am, using the Activator spray, and topped with Laneige lip balm. After a lunchtime salad and Coke Zero, the colour faded slightly in intensity. By 5 pm, a ghost of the shade remained, strongest at the lip edges. Total wear time was approximately five and a half hours. While not truly 'all day,' this outperforms most traditional lipsticks tested.

According to the reviewer, the hype is justified. The lip stain is high-impact yet low-maintenance, lasting around five hours through eating and drinking. It is also all-natural and waterproof.
