Toblerone has released a new limited edition chocolate bar inspired by the classic British summer dessert Eton Mess, available exclusively at Heathrow Airport. Only 4,000 handcrafted bars have been produced, with just 65 available for purchase each day, making it one of the most sought-after chocolate releases in airport retail, according to Heathrow.
Flavour and Packaging
The Toblerone Eton Mess bar combines raspberries, strawberries, meringue, and shortcake pieces in white chocolate. It comes in an exclusive red and pink case. The news was shared on Facebook by the account "bigdaddybsfoods," which posted images of the display and the bar itself under a glass case at the airport.
Exclusivity and Pricing
Launched to mark Heathrow's 80th anniversary and timed with London's tennis season, the 340g bar is priced at £27, significantly higher than the classic Toblerone. Despite the cost, enthusiasts have expressed excitement. One commenter said, "Holy moly, this is my dream," while another wrote, "I'd book a holiday just for that." However, some shoppers were put off by the price, with one remarking, "£27 you are having a laugh!" Another conceded, "Thing is I will be in holiday mode so I will probably buy it."
Availability
The bar is on sale while stocks last. A Heathrow spokesperson confirmed the limited availability, emphasizing the exclusivity of the release.
