Controversial internet personality N3on has ignited a fresh firestorm, this time after a shocking confrontation with a protective father in an Australian souvenir shop. The incident, which unfolded during a live broadcast, saw the streamer direct a deeply offensive slur at a young woman.
A Livestreamed Insult Sparks Confrontation
The controversy centres on footage shared from the shop on Friday. In the clip, the young woman appears to bump into the shoulder of Rangesh Mutama, known online as N3on. The 21-year-old streamer reacted angrily on camera, complaining about "rude" Australians.
Mutama then approached the woman as she browsed, claiming she had pushed him. After a failed attempt at conversation where she ignored him, the streamer was heard calling her a 'c***' as she walked away. The woman immediately challenged him, asking if he would say it to her face. Mutama provocatively replied that it was "a nice word to say" and reiterated that she had run into him without reason.
Father Intervenes in Heated Exchange
The situation escalated when the young woman located her father within the store and informed him of the verbal abuse. The footage shows the father squaring up to Mutama's entourage of bodyguards, delivering a stern warning.
"Please don't tell my daughter that... don't swear at my daughter," the father demanded, his anger palpable. The video concludes with Mutama's team scrambling to defuse the tense standoff, pulling the streamer away from the escalating situation.
A History of Notoriety and Crypto Ventures
This is far from the first controversy for N3on. He first gained significant notoriety as a 14-year-old by faking his own death. Years later, he was arrested in Dubai for filming in a restricted area.
His current trip to Australia has been highly publicised, notably because he celebrated New Year's Eve in Sydney with ex-rapper and crypto entrepreneur Iggy Azalea. The pair launched a cryptocurrency together in November last year. His most recent YouTube content features the duo on a yacht, Azalea giving Mutama a haircut, and an Australian food 'Mukbang'.
Mutama began his online career at just 12 years old, live-streaming popular video games like Fortnite. His latest actions in Australia, however, have shifted focus from gaming and crypto to a deeply personal public clash, highlighting the ongoing tensions between online personalities seeking content and the public's right to privacy and respect.
