Robson Green has confirmed that filming has wrapped on his upcoming crime series, The Northumbria Mysteries, offering fans a new project to look forward to as Grantchester prepares to conclude after its eleventh series.
Filming Complete on New Series
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared the news that production on The Northumbria Mysteries has finished, describing it as "One of the most Joyous filming experiences of my career." He added, "What a story, what a team! Transmission TBC. A series for all the family set against the magical and jaw-dropping backdrop of Northumberland. Watch this space."
The announcement comes as ITV viewers await the UK broadcast of Grantchester's final series, which has already aired in the United States. The drama has featured several lead actors over the years, including James Norton and Tom Brittney, before Rishi Nair joined in 2023, with Green's DI Geordie Keating as the constant presence.
