However, the news has been met with widespread dismay. One fan declared, "Sounds like I'm cancelling my membership then!" while another wrote, "I'm not even half way," accompanied by crying emojis, asking where to finish the series. Fortunately for UK viewers, there has been no indication that Gilmore Girls will leave Netflix UK in the near future. All seven seasons, along with the 2016 limited series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, remain available on the platform. However, the four-part revival was produced under a decade-long exclusive licensing deal with Warner Bros, which is set to expire on November 25, 2026. This means A Year in the Life will also depart Netflix US before the end of the year, though it remains unclear whether UK subscribers will be affected.
