Rumours about their relationship had been mounting in recent weeks after Snowdon described her current phase as a "new chapter of her life" and George has been absent from her social media since January. Images obtained by the Daily Mail show the presenter on her mobile phone without the diamond ring.

She recently told Prima: "I'm 54 now and see this time in my life as a new chapter. It's important to reframe ageing in a more positive way." She added: "It takes time for that readjustment to happen, but now I'm in this powerful place where it's about, 'What do I want? What do I need?' I don't have children, so it's easier for me than mums juggling teenage children, but it's a powerful time for us to reconnect with ourselves and make big life changes. It's the second spring."
Social Media Absence
Prior to the social media blackout, George had featured regularly. Fans commented on his absence from recent posts, including a series from Wimbledon. The couple briefly dated 20 years ago, reconnected in 2014, and got engaged in 2016. Despite the engagement, Snowdon was not in a hurry to marry, telling Hello! that she never envisioned walking down the aisle and described it as "just a contract."
