A UK ticket-holder has won a record £195 million jackpot in the EuroMillions lottery, operator Camelot has confirmed. The winning numbers for Tuesday's draw were 6, 23, 27, 40, 41, with Lucky Star numbers 2 and 12.
This is the largest National Lottery win of all time, surpassing the previous record of £184 million won by Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester in May 2022. Camelot's senior winners' adviser, Andy Carter, described it as "an amazing night for one UK ticket-holder" and urged players to check their tickets.
If a single ticket holder has won, they would be wealthier than Sir Tom Jones, who is worth £180 million according to the 2022 Sunday Times Rich List. The EuroMillions draw is held twice a week in nine European countries.
