The Enchanted LEGO Trail is now open in Durham, turning the city centre into a free, family-friendly fairytale adventure for the summer holidays. The trail launched this week and runs until Saturday, August 15, drawing LEGO enthusiasts of all ages.
What to see on the trail
The event features a series of large brick-built fairytale characters and fantasy-inspired displays placed across the city. Visitors can follow a route of colourful LEGO sculptures, spotting mythical creatures and beloved fairytale characters along the way.
Highlights include a giant Cinderella carriage at Prince Bishops Place Shopping Centre, a dragon at Clayport Library, and other magical displays designed to offer plenty of photo opportunities. Other characters to look out for include The Frog Prince, Gingerbread Man, Fairy Godmother and The Little Mermaid.
How to take part
Visitors can plan their route using the event's dedicated digital map before heading out. Along the trail, explorers can collect clues, complete challenges, and uncover the stories behind each enchanting creation as they journey through Durham.
