Ariana Grande has announced she will take a step back from visibility once her current tour comes to an end, with her agents confirming she has also withdrawn from a planned West End production.
The Thank U, Next singer is currently on her Eternal Sunshine world tour, which is set to reach London in August after a run of sold-out dates in the United States.
Withdrawal from Sunday in the Park with George
Her agents confirmed she will pull out of the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park with George. Grande had been due to appear at the Barbican Centre next summer, opposite her former Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
A representative said: 'Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour. She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny. This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.'
