Apple TV+ Free Trial Lets You Stream Ted Lasso Season 4

Believe again: AFC Richmond is back. After more than three years away, Ted Lasso returns to Apple TV+ this week, with Season 4 beginning on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

For a while, season three – which ended in 2023 – was confirmed to be the absolute finale. But last year, the show's return was confirmed, making this year's comeback altogether enticing, surprising and extremely exciting.

What's different in Season 4

There are plenty of changes along the way. Ted, Beard, Rebecca, Roy Kent and Keeley are all returning, but the rest of the football team and side characters are not. Instead, Season 4 will focus on the AFC Richmond Women's team.

How to watch for free

Apple TV+ has confirmed a free trial is now on offer. The seven-day trial lets fans catch up on all of Ted Lasso seasons one to three before watching the first one or two episodes of the new season. After the trial, the regular subscription price of £9.99 per month will kick in.

With the season expected to run for ten episodes, that's a full ten per cent saving on the series. It is not yet known how long the deal will last, so fans are encouraged to act quickly.

Other streaming deals

Other services also have offers. NOW (formerly NOW TV) is giving newcomers six months of TV for £3.99 per month instead of £13.99, with shows such as Sinners, They Will Kill You, House of the Dragon and more. Amazon Prime members get access to Fallout, The Boys, Invincible, Reacher, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, along with Amazon Prime delivery priority and Amazon Music.

Those services, however, do not offer Ted Lasso. With so many unanswered questions – who will Keeley end up with, does Ted love Rebecca, and is Beard really married – this is the last chance to catch up before this week's release.
