Walkers recalls Monster Munch sharing boxes over undeclared wheat allergen
Walkers recalls Monster Munch over undeclared wheat allergen

Walkers has recalled its Variety Snacks Sharing Box from supermarkets after discovering that the outer packaging failed to declare an allergen. The recall affects boxes containing packs of Monster Munch Giants Roast Beef, where wheat (gluten) was found to be missing from the outer packaging.

Affected products and batch codes

PepsiCo, which owns Walkers, said the individual bags inside the box are correctly labelled, but the sharing box itself does not list the allergen. The recall applies to products with batch code 107543 and either of the best-before dates of November 21, 2026 or January 16, 2027.

Customers with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or coeliac disease, have been warned not to eat the affected product.

Refunds and customer support

Anyone who has bought an affected box should not consume it. Customers can contact Walkers’ customer support by email for a full refund, or call the PepsiCo Consumer Care Line for more information.

Health advice and wider alert

Walkers has also contacted allergy support organisations so they can alert their members. Anyone who has eaten the product and develops signs of an allergic reaction, including hives or difficulty breathing, should seek medical help immediately. The recall affects England, Scotland and Wales.
