WalesOnline Premium Half-Price Offer: Year's Access for £24.99

WalesOnline has launched a half-price sale on its Premium subscription, offering a year's access for £24.99. The reduced rate works out at just over £2 a month, less than the cost of a takeaway coffee once a month. The promotion runs for seven days until October 12.

The offer provides unlimited access to exclusive news, sport, and feature writing from WalesOnline and its app. It is designed for readers who have been considering signing up since the paywall was introduced, offering a way to get a year's access without breaking the bank.

More than 6,700 people have signed up to Premium since its launch in January this year.

Exclusive Coverage and In-Depth Reporting

Premium members gain access to daily exclusive original pieces about Wales, including in-depth court coverage, analysis, and opinion on the big issues facing the nation. The sports coverage includes detailed insight and behind-the-scenes reporting on Welsh rugby, Cardiff City, Swansea City, and Wales football.

Feature writers provide the inside track on things to do, places to eat, and the best spots to visit in Wales. Examples of powerful writing behind the paywall include crime writer Phil Dewey's coverage of the most extraordinary cases he has witnessed, and a powerful interview with a woman who endured two decades of abuse from her husband.

Reporting from family courts casts a light on the difficult decisions judges and social workers make regarding the most vulnerable lives. The outlet has also covered the trial, conviction, and sentencing of solicitor Paul Garvey, who was involved in the drugs world behind the scenes.

Political editor Ruth Mosalski regularly speaks to key decision makers in Wales, including finance minister Elin Jones on the challenges Plaid is facing to pass its budget. Her piece on the £27bn elephant in the room as Plaid Cymru faces its biggest test yet in government provides exclusive insight into what is happening behind the scenes. She has also profiled new Plaid MS Matthew Jones, whose mother died when he was a toddler.

Business editor Sion Barry provides daily insight into what is happening behind the scenes, with exclusive stories and big interviews. Cardiff City writer Glen Williams gives fans insight into what is happening behind the scenes at Leckwith, including a piece on Vincent Tan's 1,000 days away from Cardiff City. Rugby writers bring ratings from big regional games like Dragons v Scarlets and big interviews with figures like Phil Steele.

Popular Premium pieces include the definitive list of the 24 best places to live in Wales and an in-depth feature with the people who live there. Big interviews include a piece with multi-Emmy-winning Matthew Rhys on how he stays humble.
