Jordan Wright, known for appearing on The Only Way Is Essex, left an estate valued at £10,760 when he died earlier this year at the age of 33, documents have revealed.
The reality star, who rose to fame on Ex on the Beach before joining TOWIE, was found dead in a drain in Phuket, Thailand, in March, shortly after moving to the island for a fresh start.
Estate and will details
According to documents made public on Monday and issued by the High Court of Justice last week, Wright's estate was initially valued at £31,247 but, after deductions, the figure was reduced to £10,760.
During his lifetime, it had been estimated that the TV personality had a net worth of between £50,000 and £150,000. Neville Wright was named as administrator of the will, but the documents also confirmed that Jordan had not made a valid will before his death.
Circumstances of death
At the inquest into the reality star's death, coordinator Matthew Austin said that Wright "was discovered in a drainage ditch". He was found in a drainage ditch off Bang Thao 2 Alley, Choeng Thale sub-district, Thalang district, Phuket province, the inquest heard.
It was previously confirmed that his body showed no signs of physical assault or any struggle. He was found face down in a canal wearing a grey shirt and black trousers, without shoes. Authorities discovered a keycard for the Coco Phuket Bangtao Hotel in his pocket, while his phone was located on a nearby canal bank.
Tributes and final posts
Before his death, Jordan had shared sun-soaked snaps and videos of his life in Phuket on social media, including pictures of himself drinking champagne in an infinity pool, scuba diving, and riding a motorbike, with the caption 'Home.'
Just weeks after his move, he was found dead. A spokesperson for TOWIE said in a statement: "Everyone at TOWIE sends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Jordan Wright at this very sad time."
Tributes were also paid in the comments of Wright's last Instagram post, including from fellow TOWIE star Chloe Brockett, who wrote: "Rest in peace Jordan." Liam "Gatsby" Blackwell, who also appeared on the reality programme, added: "Miss you already, brother. Glad I got to see you in Thailand a couple of months ago. Big love to all your Family."
