Ferrero has released a new box of chocolates, the Ferrero Collection Experience, now available at Tesco stores across the UK. The 20-piece box contains four flavours: cappuccino, cocoa, hazelnut, and salted caramel. It is priced at £10, but Tesco Clubcard holders can get it for £8.
Shoppers' Reactions
A social media user called 'NewFoodsUK' shared a photo of the box on their platform, captioning it: "New Ferrero Collection Experience box spotted at Tesco!" The post quickly drew excited comments from shoppers, with one writing: "These look delicious," and another saying: "Yummy my type of food lol x." A third commented: "I’ll have 3 boxes please," while another shared: "Got some of these for my birthday of my fiancé, they are amazing."
Brand Background
Ferrero, the Italian company behind Ferrero Rocher, also makes Nutella and Kinder products. The brand is the second largest chocolate producer and confectionery company in the world by revenue. Ferrero Rocher was first introduced in 1979 in Italy and in other parts of Europe in 1982, named by Michele Ferrero after a grotto in Lourdes, with 'Rocher' meaning 'rock' in French.
The new truffle box is expected to be a hit, though some shoppers noted difficulty finding it in stores, with one predicting: "For many they say they cant find them but I reckon they'll soon be out in the xmas chocolate aisle."
