Several major retailers have issued urgent recalls over the past week, with customers urged to stop using certain products immediately. Beer recalled over explosion risk

Lucky Saint is recalling its Hazy IPA because some cans may become over-pressurised and explode unexpectedly. These cans are sold in Tesco and Sainsbury's. The pack size is 4 x 330ml cans, with a best before date of end of August 13, 2027.

If you have bought this product, do not attempt to open or drink it. Instead, take proof of purchase to your nearest store for a full refund – don't return the cans. To safely dispose of the product, handle the cans as little as possible, place them carefully, upright, in a sealed bag, and dispose of them with household waste.

Chocolate recalled over salmonella

World of Sweets is recalling Dubai Style Crunchy Knafeh and Pistachio Milk Chocolate and Alyan Dubai Style Chocolate Truffles because Salmonella has been found in the products. Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps. If you're experiencing these symptoms, stay away from work, school or nursery until you have stopped having symptoms for at least 48 hours to avoid passing it on to others.

The Alyan Dubai Style Chocolate Truffles have product code 319456, pack size 120g, and all best before dates. The Alyan Dubai Style Crunchy Knafeh and Pistachio Milk Chocolate has product code 318591, pack size 100g, and all best before dates. If you've bought this product, don't eat it. Keep the product and its packaging separate from other food. If you bought the product directly from World of Sweets, contact their Customer Service and provide your order number and the number of affected units you have, and the team will advise on your next steps.

Vacuum cleaner and sand toy recalled

eBay is recalling its Storm Trading cordless handheld/stick vacuum cleaner, marketed as a “four in one” product. It is supplied with a floor brush, crevice tool, brush tool, telescopic extension tube and washable HEPA filter. The product was supplied without the required manufacturer and importer identification details and didn't include the manufacturer's postal address, the UK importer's name, registered trade name or trademark, or postal address. In addition, the CE marking displayed was below the minimum prescribed size requirements. The model is GHA-585, barcode 50004300047679, eBay item number 226383807216, and eBay seller Storm.Trading (JD Europe). Affected customers have been contacted directly by the supplier. If you own this product, stop using it and contact the eBay seller for a refund, repair or replacement.

YongnKids has recalled its Theme Scene Sandbox Toy Kit, sold via Amazon. The product presents a risk to health because the sand included may be contaminated with a small quantity of asbestos, a banned substance that poses a risk to health even at low levels of exposure. The brand is YongnKids, Amazon ASIN BODPQ5M3P3, and Amazon Barcode X0026TZ9ZR. The local authority is requiring the recall of the products from end users, and the import has been rejected at the border. It is recommended to stop using this product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children. Unused or packaged sand should be double-bagged, securely taped, labelled, and stored out of reach of children before being returned to the store for a full refund.
