Tesco expands Clubcard to 500 brands including Nike and LEGO
Tesco Clubcard adds 500 brands including Nike and LEGO

Tesco shoppers can now collect Clubcard points at more than 500 brands, including Nike and Ticketmaster. Previously, points could only be collected through 13 external partners. The expansion, which came into effect on October 14, spans across home, beauty, fashion and travel brands.

Point rates vary by retailer

Point rates vary by retailer, with several brands offering more than the standard rate of one point per pound spent. Nike is currently offering up to four Clubcard points for every pound, meaning shoppers could earn 400 points on a £100 purchase.

Under the scheme, 400 points can be redeemed for a £4 voucher, though that value can be tripled to £12 if shoppers redeem them to use at seven restaurants, known as Clubcard Reward Partners, including Pizza Express and Zizzi.

Beauty and toy brands join

Beauty retailer LOOKFANTASTIC has also partnered with Clubcard, offering up to six points per £1 spent. Dyson is giving out two points for every £1, while £1 spent at LEGO could earn up to five points.

Shama Wilson, Tesco group loyalty and membership director, said: "We are really excited to be giving Clubcard members even more ways to collect points on more brands they already know and love."

Biggest expansion yet

They added: "Today marks the biggest expansion of the partner brands where customers can collect Clubcard points, with more than 500 brands now available across fashion, beauty, home, travel and more.

"As we head into Black Friday and Christmas, customers can collect points on spending they are planning to do and turn those points into rewards that matter most to them."

To collect rewards through Points Partners, members need to head to the Clubcard section of the Tesco app, or the Clubcard website, and click through to the relevant retailer. Tesco delivered the expanded scheme in partnership with loyalty specialist Valuedynamx.
