Stacey Solomon has sparked debate among fans and family after sharing her latest holiday purchase – a pair of waterproof Crocs trainers. The presenter jetted off to Miami with beauty brand SpaceNK and took to Instagram to rave about the Inmotion Pacer Sneakers.
While her sister Jemma was unimpressed, Stacey was full of praise for the practical footwear, even wading straight into the sea wearing them. She declared: "I'm sorry but Crocs trainers for life! The best thing that's ever happened to me."
The shoes, priced at £74.99, are more expensive than traditional water shoes, with alternatives such as Mountain Warehouse's Bermuda Aqua Shoes available for £12.99 in a sale. However, the Crocs trainers can be worn both in and out of water, making them suitable for sightseeing as well as trips to the beach.
Their waterproof design means they dry quickly, similar to classic Crocs clogs, and offer protection from rocks and uneven surfaces. The trainers come in three colours, with Stacey opting for the all-white pair, which she paired with denim shorts and a vest top.
Although listed as men's shoes on Amazon, the Inmotion Pacer Sneakers are available in UK sizes 3 to 12, with the retailer recommending customers size down a full size for the best fit. Reviews have been largely positive, with one customer calling them a "game changer" for foot problems, though another noted they are "not the best for wide feet."
