Our Place Always Pan vs Ninja Possible Pan: Which All-in-One Cookware Wins?

Our Place's Always Pan and Ninja's Possible Pan are two of the most popular all-in-one cookware options on the market. Both promise to replace multiple pots and pans with a single piece, but which one is worth your money? After using both pans for over a year, I've put them through rigorous testing to find out.

The Always Pan 2.0, made from 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium, is a stylish deep non-stick frying pan that can boil, steam, strain, and more. It is now oven-safe up to 230°C, a significant upgrade from the original. Its ceramic non-stick coating is toxin-free, without PTFE, PFOA, or other PFAS. However, it requires low to medium heat and careful maintenance to preserve the coating.

The Ninja Possible Pan, launched in 2022, boasts nine cooking functions and a tough 'zerostick' coating. With a 3.8-litre capacity, it is larger than the Always Pan's 2.46 litres, making it better suited for bigger meals. The Possible Pan is also heavier and less manoeuvrable, but its non-stick performance is robust, even on higher heat.

In terms of practicality, the Always Pan's rounded shape and pour spouts make stirring and serving easy, while its spatula notch is a clever design feature. However, the handle near the pan bowl gets hot, and the small side handle is not heat-proof. The Possible Pan excels in boiling and steaming, thanks to its larger capacity and included steamer basket.

Ultimately, the choice depends on your needs. The Always Pan is ideal for smaller kitchens and those who prioritise aesthetics and lighter weight, provided they are willing to follow care instructions. The Ninja Possible Pan is better for larger households and those who want a more durable non-stick surface without heat restrictions.
