Lidl's £50 cordless vacuum rivals Dyson at £349

Lidl's Silvercrest Cordless Cyclone Vacuum Cleaner, priced at just £49.99, is now available in stores, offering a budget-friendly alternative to the Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum, which retails at £349. This 2-in-1 device functions as both a handheld and an upright vacuum, making it versatile for home and car cleaning.

Key Features and Design

The vacuum uses modern cyclonic technology for bagless cleaning, ensuring no loss of suction and easy emptying. It comes with a removable battery pack and two cleaning modes—eco and boost—providing between 25 and 45 minutes of run time. LED lights indicate power and battery levels.

An EPA filter 10 and stainless steel filter ensure clean air emission, while the dust container has a 35ml capacity. The electric floor nozzle includes LED lights to spot debris, and the suction tube converts into a handheld device for stairs and tight corners.

Also available is the Silvercrest Glass Air Fryer at £49.99, a healthier cooking option using little to no oil. It includes two glass containers and four pre-set programmes: air fry, roast, re-fry, and keep warm. The 1500W device has adjustable temperature control from 60 to 200C, non-stick coating by ILAG, and a recipe booklet.
