Hobbycraft, the UK's leading arts and crafts retailer, has launched Craftober 2026, featuring exclusive discounts and workshops for customers nationwide. Shoppers can save money by using the code CRAFT in store and online, with £5 off when spending £20 and £10 off when spending £40.
The deals are available from Thursday 8 October until Wednesday 21 October. In addition, Hobbycraft is offering 20% off all workshops, in store and online. With October half term approaching, these deals serve as a screen-free way to keep children busy.
Money off crafting supplies and decorations
To unlock the money-saving offers, consumers could pick up the Giant Craft Jar (normally £20) for just £15. The jar is overflowing with colourful craft materials, set to keep people busy with over 45 projects. It includes everything from buttons to tissue paper, twine, gems, washi tape and more, suitable for children aged three and over.
One buyer said: "It makes a really good gift. Can keep the kids busy for hours. Beautiful activity and also makes a good storage container for all the crafty stuff."
A second shopper shared: "Daughter loves this. Has so many things to do in it. Great value for money." However, the contents could be improved for someone who wrote: "Excellent product loads of fun but too much tissue paper is my only criticism."

With Halloween around the corner, kids can get involved with everything from seasonal ceramic pumpkin painting to wreath-making and decorating projects. Parents can stock up on five £4 activities to keep children busy and get the sets for £15 instead of £20.
Sets include the Paint By Numbers Halloween Kit, Paint Your Own Ceramic Halloween Figures 10 Pack, Haunted House Colour-In Canvas, Halloween Colour and Sticker Activity Book and a Witch's Hat Bead Box.
Little crafters can also get ahead of Christmas with make-your-own advent calendars, ceramic baubles and festive kits. The Colour-In Cardboard Gingerbread House (£20) gives a blank canvas for children to cover with their creative works of art. Shoppers could even buy it alongside this £26 set of 70 colouring pencils, to get £10 off the total basket.

Leaving a mixed review, another person said: "Excellent item. It was a little difficult to put together initially but, once built, it provided a good few hours of entertainment for our grand-daughter on Boxing Day, which she will continue doing during her next visit! Very good value for money!"

Workshops and terms to redeem discounts
If you're keen to try something new but think you need some help getting started, there are more than 60 workshops to browse through, so there should be an activity to get everyone excited. From plush pumpkin painting to journal classes, candle making and more, shoppers can choose from seasonal activities as well as regular events.
Dates do vary by store and be mindful that for online classes a craft kit needs to be delivered in time. Workshops range in price from £8 to £45 per person. There are workshops geared towards autumn and Halloween, as well as getting ahead for Christmas. Elsewhere, Virgin Experience Days have arts & crafts classes, including perfume making, mosaic making and flower arranging, with prices starting from £12.
