Former Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo has shared a budget-friendly mascara she says is 'so much softer than black for summer' - and it costs less than £9. Max Factor's 2000 Calorie Long Lash Era Tubing Mascara Chocolate Brown 7.8ml can usually be purchased at Boots for £10.99, but the code CHOC20 brings the price down to £8.79 until August 15, 2026.
Chocolate Melt range
In a video for Social Tip HQ on TikTok, the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me out of Here! winner spoke about Max Factor's new Chocolate Melt range, which includes the mascara, and new colours of the Mellow Blur Lipstick which normally retails for £9.99, but with the code drops to £7.99 in the applicable shades. These are Rose Macaron, Nude Praline, Chai Fudge, Strawberry Cake, Berry Creme and Cacao Blend.
Back to the mascara, and its Boots listing says it offers 'up to 50% visibly longer lashes.' It's said to be smudge-proof and easy to remove, while also 'stretching and sculpting' each lash to give beauty lovers a lifted and elongated look.

The product has been reviewed over at Superdrug where it's also being sold priced at £10.99. One reviewer said: "My new everyday favourite mascara. I've been using this mascara for the past two weeks, and in my opinion, it's simply perfect. It's very easy to apply, beautifully lengthens and separates my lashes, and doesn't smudge, clump, or flake throughout the day. The brush is very comfortable and makes application effortless. One of the biggest advantages for me is how easily it removes with just warm water—no 'panda eyes' at all! And the brown shade is absolutely gorgeous! It looks so natural and flattering. I can confidently recommend this mascara to anyone looking for long-lasting, beautifully defined lashes."
It is worth noting that another deducted a star due to a minor concern with the colour payoff, writing: "The brush is really good and makes application quick and easy. I really like the chocolate colour, although it could be a bit more intense. The formula is a bit thin for my liking. I wish it was slightly more denser to add more volume. That said, it leaves my lashes looking long, defined and very natural."

Despite this, another hailed the product a 'favourite' writing: "Smudge proof mascara. I've been using different products over the years and this mascara is definitely one of my new favourites. The chocolate brown colour makes your eyes pop. Also, the fact that it's smudge proof makes the process of removing it so much easier! I hate having panda eyes and this comes out without any effort!"
A further review reads: "Lengthens the lashes nicely, separates without adding volume. A nice softer brown mascara. Only downside for me is that it's a little more difficult to take off than my other mascaras."
