B&M has reduced the price of a "decorative" table set that promises to be a "great way" to showcase potted plants. The retailer, known for affordable homeware and furniture, has cut the price by 33 per cent, but shoppers must act quickly as it carries a 'Hurry Low Stock' warning.
The Home Collection Plant Tables
The set of two tables ordinarily retails at £15 but has been dropped to just £10. The design is straightforward, with modest surface space ideal for plants, a cup of tea, a small ornament, or a cherished photo. Their adaptability suits various interior styles and can be placed in bedrooms, living rooms, or dining areas.
"Add some decorative features to your home with these Home Collection Plant Tables," the product description states. "A great way to show off your favourite indoor plants and décor."
The set includes two tables of different heights: the larger measures 25cm x 25cm x 70cm, while the smaller is 22cm x 22cm x 60cm, offering versatility for different spaces. Interested customers should visit the B&M website, but note that collection is in-store only. Use the online store finder to check stock availability.
Comparison with Next's Kalani Table
The B&M table bears a striking resemblance to the Kalani Marble and Metal Tall Square Side Table sold at Next for £133 — over £100 more. Beyond the price difference, the Next table has a larger tabletop and is marketed as a side table rather than exclusively for plants. It also features a marble top, which may justify the higher cost.
A Next spokesperson said: "Elevate your home décor with the luxurious Kalani metal side table. The stunning tall square side table features a white marble top and sleek black metal legs, perfect for displaying a table lamp or vase, and sure to add elegance to any room. UK Mainland Delivery Only."
Unlike the B&M set, the Next table is sold as a single item. It stands 68cm tall, 30cm wide, and 30cm deep, making it slightly more compact than the larger B&M table.
