Barclays is offering customers up to £600 as part of a new account deal. Brits can receive up to £300 for switching to its regular Barclays Bank Account, or £600 for moving to its Premier Account.
How to qualify for the cash
To ensure you get the cash when making the switch, the process must be done using the Current Account Switcher Service (CASS), which lets you move over to a new bank account in seven working days.
Customers who open a new Barclays Bank Account, complete a full switch using CASS with three direct debits, and pay in a minimum £2,000 salary within 30 days will receive £150.
You then must make at least 10 eligible direct debit card transactions a month to receive £30 a month for five months. This will take the total amount of free cash to £300.
Premier Account reward
Those who have a minimum salary of £5,000 can earn £450 by opening a new Barclays Premier Account, completing a full switch with three direct debits and paying in their salary within 30 days.
You then must also make at least 10 eligible debit card transactions to receive £30 a month for the next five months, which will take the reward to £600.
Application and availability
Customers must open and complete a Barclays Current Account application in the bank's app within 21 days to get the offers.
The switching deals are available from Thursday, October 1, but may be withdrawn by the bank at any time, so it is always important to check beforehand.
