Asda and Morrisons pasta salads recalled over Listeria

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has announced the urgent recall of three pasta ready meals sold by Asda and Morrisons due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recall affects England, Scotland and Wales and was issued on Friday.

Products affected by the recall

The products are being recalled by food company Greencore as a precautionary action. The affected items are: Asda Cheese & Tomato Pasta Salad (300g) with product code 5063089221990 and use by date August 10, 2026; Asda Nacho Cheese Pasta Salad (500g) with product code 5063717198311 and use by date August 9, 2026; and Morrisons Chicken and Bacon Pasta (300g) with product code 5010251790587 and use by date August 7, 2026.

No other products or date codes are affected by the recall.

Advice to consumers

The FSA has urged customers who have bought these products not to eat them. Instead, they should return them to the nearest store for a full refund, with no receipt required.
