Thousands of students will receive their A-level results this week, and many restaurants are offering freebies and discounts to celebrate. A-level and AS results are released in England, Wales and Northern Ireland on August 13. Most offers require showing your results slip, and some require a purchase.
Restaurant Offers
Bella Italia gives a free starter and dessert with any main purchase. Bill's offers a free dessert with any main, but not in Scotland. Bird & Blend provides a free Ice Superstar Matcha with no minimum spend. Byron Burger offers buy one get one free on selected burgers. Frankie & Benny's gives a free starter and dessert with a main. Giggling Squid includes a free portion of Sticky Chicken with a main dish.
Las Iguanas offers a free starter and churros dessert. Nando's gives a free quarter chicken or starter with a £7 spend. Pizza Express offers 90 minutes of bottomless pizza and dough balls for £12.50. Zizzi gives the first 50 students free garlic and mozzarella bombe with a soft drink, and 50% off that dish for others.
Results Background
Last year, the overall A-level pass rate rose slightly to 97.4%, and top grades (A* and A) increased marginally to 28.2%. GCSE results will be released on August 20.
Before ordering, double-check with the restaurant that the offer is still running, as some may end early.
