Two Lottery Players Win £1M Each After Rule Change

Two National Lottery players have become millionaires after winning £1 million each in Wednesday’s Lotto draw, the first to take place under the game’s new format. The rule changes, implemented earlier this month, introduced a second round and a bonus number that created the top prize winners.

How the New Millionaires Won

One winner emerged in round one and another in round two, each matching five out of six main numbers plus the bonus number. The winning numbers for round one were 30, 35, 39, 45, 46, 53 with bonus number 37. Round two numbers were 3, 25, 31, 32, 34, 54 with bonus number 45.

Lotto Rule Changes

The National Lottery updated its Lotto rules earlier this month, adding a second draw round and altering the prize structure. The changes aim to create more millionaires and increase player engagement. According to Camelot, the operator, the new format offers more chances to win life-changing prizes.
