ITV's new spy thriller 'Secret Service' makes its debut tonight, Monday, April 27, at 9pm. The five-part series stars Gemma Arterton, Rafe Spall and Mark Stanley.
The plot follows MI6 officer Kate Henderson, played by Arterton, who discovers evidence that a top politician seeking to become Prime Minister could be a Russian asset. She must uncover the truth while keeping her family safe.
The first two episodes air on consecutive nights, with episode two on Tuesday, April 28, at 9pm. Episodes three to five will be released over three consecutive nights starting Sunday, May 3.
For those who cannot wait, all five episodes are now available to stream on ITVX. The series is based on ITV News presenter Tom Bradby's 2019 novel of the same name.
Bradby described the show as 'a really compulsive, high-octane, nerve-shredding but emotionally rich thriller' that blends spy story, family drama and political intrigue.
