CCTV of lobster-costume attacker after darts knockout

A man in his 20s was left unconscious after being allegedly punched by a person dressed as a lobster outside Alexandra Palace on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The incident occurred after he attended the third day of the World Darts Championship.

Around 4.30pm, the victim left the venue and encountered a group of men dressed as lobsters. An argument broke out, and security separated the two parties. However, while walking along the concourse, the victim encountered the same group again. One of the men then punched him, knocking him unconscious.

Victim Hospitalised

The man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police said he continues to suffer significant injuries.

Police Appeal

The Metropolitan Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the assault. Detective Constable Lizzie Coster, leading the investigation, said: "Our thoughts are with the victim in this case, and we hope the best for his recovery. This assault occurred outside at a major sporting event, and the suspect was wearing a distinctive costume. We are releasing a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that it will jog the memory of attendees, or anyone else who was in the area at the time."
