Bank of England Must Plan for Alien Disclosure Financial Crisis, Expert Warns
BoE Warned to Plan for Alien-Induced Financial Crisis

A former senior Bank of England analyst has issued a stark warning: the UK's central bank must urgently develop contingency plans for a potential financial crisis triggered by the United States government confirming the existence of alien life.

Former BoE Analyst Sounds the Alarm

Helen McCaw, who served for a decade as a senior analyst in financial security at the Bank of England until 2012, has written to the Bank's Governor, Andrew Bailey. In her correspondence, reported by The Times, she urges the institution to prepare for the economic fallout should the White House ever verify the reality of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) of non-human origin.

McCaw argues that politicians and bankers can no longer afford to dismiss discussions about extraterrestrial life. She posits that such a monumental declaration could directly lead to bank collapses, as it would fundamentally challenge global ontological and economic assumptions.

The Looming Threat of 'Ontological Shock' to Markets

In her analysis, McCaw states that UAP disclosure is likely to induce 'ontological shock'—a profound psychological disturbance from a paradigm-shattering revelation. This, she warns, would have material consequences for the global economy.

"There might be extreme price volatility in financial markets due to catastrophising or euphoria, and a collapse in confidence if market participants feel uncertain on how to price assets using any of the familiar methods," McCaw explained.

She outlined potential scenarios where investors might frantically seek traditional safe-haven assets like gold and government bonds. Conversely, she also suggested that the status of precious metals could be undermined if markets speculate that advanced alien technology could soon mine asteroids, dramatically increasing their supply.

Growing Credibility of the UFO Topic in the US

This unusual warning aligns with a significant shift in the United States, where the topic of UAPs has moved from the fringe into mainstream political and military discourse. McCaw pointed out that the US government appears to be in a multi-year process of declassification and disclosure regarding technologically advanced non-human intelligence.

This view is supported by recent statements from senior American figures. In the documentary 'The Age of Disclosure', which features interviews with 34 US government insiders, prominent voices have spoken out. Senator Marco Rubio told filmmakers, "We’ve had repeated instances of something operating in the airspace over restricted nuclear facilities, and it’s not ours."

The documentary, which also includes interviews with Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, discusses an alleged 80-year cover-up and a secret global race to reverse-engineer recovered non-human technology.

McCaw's central, chilling conclusion is that confirmation of alien life would force humanity to acknowledge a power or intelligence greater than any government, with unknown intentions—a realisation with the potential to unravel the foundations of financial confidence worldwide.
