Rangers in £8.5m Girona Transfer Push for Minsu Kim

Rangers have reportedly made a "strong" transfer push to snap up Girona forward Minsu Kim this summer.

Boss Derek McInnes has made it clear that he wants to add new faces in wide areas following the collapse of a deal for PSV winger Couhaib Driouech, due to issues with the 24-year-old's medical.

Rangers' Transfer Targets

Record Sport revealed that Rangers chiefs have held talks with Besiktas over a move for Vaclav Cerny, but could be priced out of a deal due to the player's wage demands. With Daisuke Yokota the only new arrival on the flanks so far this summer, reports in Spain suggest 20-year-old Kim is also on the shopping list.

Kim last season on loan at Segunda Division side FC Andorra became a key member of the side. He now looks set to be given a chance to make a push for Girona's first-team following their relegation last term.

Kim's Release Clause

Catalonian outlet SER report that the Glasgow giants are making a "strong push" for the rising star. But it is claimed the South Korean talent has a €10million (£8.5million) release clause in his contract and that Girona are not willing to go below at this stage.

Fenerbahce's Oguz Aydin has also been linked with a move to Ibrox this summer, and a path to Glasgow looks to be clear. The player's representatives are said to have met with Istanbul chiefs to discuss the player's options, and he now appears set to leave. Takvim state that Rangers are joined by Feyenoord, Espanyol and Hamburg in chasing a deal.

Outgoing Interest in Raskin

In terms of outgoings, Fener are reportedly in the market for one of Rangers' star men and have "initiated contact" with the club over a potential deal for Nicolas Raskin. The midfielder put in a string of impressive performances for Belgium in their run to the World Cup quarter-final stage, and is said to be attracting interest from across Europe.

Sources in Italy state Atalanta and Bologna are keen on signing Raskin this summer. Villarreal and Real Betis have been mentioned with a deal. But with no deal on the table, reports in Turkey suggest that Fener are eyeing up a deal. However, they would want to land the player for around €17million (£14.5million).
