Man United Discuss Camavinga Transfer: Romano

Manchester United have reportedly discussed the possibility of signing Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga as they continue their summer transfer business, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Three New Signings Already Confirmed

United have had a busy week, confirming three new additions. Andrey Santos joined from Chelsea in a £50million deal, Youri Tielemans arrived from Aston Villa for £35million after United triggered his release clause, and goalkeeper Karl Darlow signed on a free transfer following his departure from Leeds United.

Despite these additions, the club is still being linked with further reinforcements before the transfer window closes.

Camavinga Emerges as a Target

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano said: "Man Utd are considering a few options before deciding who is the player they want. Another option mentioned internally in the meetings has been Eduardo Camavinga."

Romano added: "So, Camavinga, Manu Kone, defensive midfielder who can run, who can help with intensity, also physical. So this is what Man Utd are looking for."

Player's Preference and Complicated Deal

However, Romano noted that Camavinga does not want to leave Real Madrid this summer. "Camavinga doesn't want to leave Real Madrid this summer. Camavinga wants to stay, Camavinga wants to be an important part of Real Madrid project next season. The Camavinga story could only be possible if the player decides to go. So this is why the deal for Camavinga is complicated."

Reports have suggested Camavinga could be available for around £43million, though his future at the Santiago Bernabeu remains uncertain.

Other Midfield Targets

United are also linked with Roma midfielder Manu Kone, while a deal for Atalanta's Ederson appears to have stalled. United had agreed a £38.8million deal for Ederson, but uncertainty now surrounds that move after spending £85million on Santos and Tielemans.
