Virgin Media is offering a free LG smart TV worth £249.99 to new customers who sign up for one of four TV and broadband packages before 11.59pm on Wednesday, July 29. The deal arrives as the Premier League season kicks off on August 22.
Sport bundle for football fans
The £56.99 Sport bundle includes nine Sky Sports channels, such as Main Event and Premier League, covering at least 215 fixtures of the 2026/27 season. The package also provides over 200 TV channels, a Netflix subscription and 362Mbps fibre broadband. Customers can choose between the 43-inch LG Ultra HD smart TV or £125 bill credit.
However, the monthly price will rise to £60.99 from April 2027 and to £64.99 from April 2028.
Other packages and alternatives
For £66.99, the Sports + Cinema bundle adds Sky Cinema and 516Mbps broadband. The £78.99 Max Volt package offers over 240 channels, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, an unlimited O2 SIM with roaming in 75 countries, and a six-month O2 Extra service like Disney+ or Prime Video.
Cheaper sports bundles exist, such as Sky's £44 Ultimate TV and Sky Sports package, which includes HBO Max, Netflix and Disney+ but no fibre broadband or free TV. EE's Full Works and Full Fibre 74 package costs £65.99 with Sky Sports, TNT Sports, NOW Entertainment, NOW Cinema and HBO Max, but jumps to £113.99 after three months.

Virgin Media customers on Trustpilot have shared mixed feedback. One said, “Virgin have been excellent. I’m working from home and struggled initially with poor broadband. Moved to Virgin and haven’t had any issues at all. My other half is also very happy because he can watch football without any frustrating buffering.”
