Clyde have announced the signing of winger Timam Scott on a one-year deal, subject to SFA approval, after his brief stint at East Kilbride ended after just four weeks. The 20-year-old joined Kilby on May 29 but left K-Park last week, with manager Mick Kennedy citing the player's desire for guaranteed game time as the reason for the split, according to Lanarkshire Live Sport.
Scott's Trial and Move to Clyde
Scott featured as a trialist for the Bully Wee in Saturday's friendly defeat to Dunfermline, impressing enough to secure terms across Lanarkshire at League Two Clyde. The former Queen's Park man started his career at the Spiders, making his debut in October 2024, and played against Clyde three times last season—once for Queen's Park and twice while on loan at Annan Athletic in the second half of the campaign.

Manager Praise and Title Ambitions
Bully Wee boss Darren Young hailed Scott's attributes and hopes he can contribute to their title push this season. He said: "Timam is a pacey, tricky winger who caused us a lot of problems when we played Annan back in January. He's direct, likes to take players on and he'll give us another good attacking option. He's a young player with plenty of potential and this move gives him a great opportunity to continue his development."
