Chelsea set £25m asking price for Axel Disasi

Chelsea have set an asking price of £25m for centre-back Axel Disasi, who is seeking a move away from the club. The 28-year-old Frenchman has not made a first-team appearance for the Blues since a 14-minute cameo against Wolves in January 2025.

Disasi's recent stint at West Ham

Disasi spent time on loan at Aston Villa and West Ham, making a handful of PL2 appearances after being exiled by Enzo Maresca. His six-month spell at West Ham ended with relegation in May. He has not reported to Cobham for pre-season training and does not appear to be in Xabi Alonso's plans for the coming campaign.

Interest from West Ham and Disasi's preference

Standard Sport understands Chelsea have set their asking price for Disasi at £25m. Disasi impressed in his loan spell at West Ham despite the club's relegation, and Standard Sport has previously reported the Irons were interested in making his stay permanent had they avoided the drop. That interest remained even after relegation, but Disasi has no interest in playing in the Championship. He hopes to find a new club in the Premier League or overseas.

Disasi's Chelsea career

Disasi, who has spent the summer training in Marrakech, signed for Chelsea from Monaco in 2023 for £38.8m. He has made 61 appearances for the club, contributing to Club World Cup and Conference League triumphs.

Chelsea's summer turnover

It is set to be another summer of high turnover at Chelsea. Morgan Rogers and Marco Palestra have already arrived alongside Emanuel Emegha and Geovany Quenda. Winger Alejandro Garnacho is set to depart on a season-long loan to Aston Villa with a conditional obligation to buy.
