Celtic are reportedly the latest top side to declare an interest in Girona winger Yaser Asprilla, according to a report.
Martin O'Neill's side have spent nearly £30million on four summer signings so far, with £6million capture Camilo Duran scoring twice in the 3-0 win over LASK that has moved Celtic to the brink of Champions League qualification.
But the Parkhead boss is keen to add more strength in depth to his squad, and they have now been linked with Colombia international Asprilla.
Asprilla's record move and struggles
The 22-year-old joined the Segunda Division side in a club record £16million deal from Watford two years ago but has failed to make an impact at the Estadi Montilivi.
Asprilla spent the second half of last season on loan at Istanbul giants Galatasaray, and sources in South America claim he is a target for Celtic, fellow Spanish top tier team Valencia, Lecce in Serie A, and unnamed clubs from Ligue 1 in France.
However, they add that while the Envigado youth graduate is keen on a move away from Spain, Girona — who were relegated from La Liga last season after four years in the top-flight — have no intention of selling him this summer.
Celtic also eyeing goalkeeper
A new goalkeeper is also on the agenda for Celtic, with Record Sport revealing that Blackburn Rovers' shot-stopper Balazs Toth is a target.
Ewood Park manager Tony Mowbray previously stated that the Hungarian is likely to be sold before the window closes but insists that they are yet to receive a bid for the 28-year-old, who is expected to line up against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Speaking at Friday's press conference, one-time Hoops gaffer Mowbray said: "No, I don't know anything about it.
"I'm pretty sure that there have been no bids, no offers, nothing for him, and it seems to be very media-driven.
"I've got nothing to say, nothing to add, because I don't know anything more. He is a very calm, cool kid, to be honest. He's not fazed at all.
"He tells me he's just getting on with every day's training and just keep going, so that's what I expect from him."
