Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign 19-year-old PAOK prospect Giannis Konstantelias, valued at around £10 million. The versatile forward and midfielder has attracted interest from several European clubs after strong performances in Greece.
The Gunners are expected to send scouts to watch the Greece Under-21 international during the January transfer window, according to the Evening Standard. Konstantelias is tipped for a senior Greece call-up in March for Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Arsenal face competition from Premier League rivals Manchester City, Wolves, Leeds United and Crystal Palace, as well as Dutch side PSV and La Liga's Valencia. Konstantelias previously trialled at Barcelona at age 15, but a deal fell through.
If PAOK sell in January, the teenager would likely return on loan for the rest of the season. He has contributed four assists in 13 league games this term, helping PAOK sit third in the Greek Super League.
Arsenal are also pursuing Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk and have held talks with Atletico Madrid over a loan for Joao Felix as they aim to strengthen their title challenge.
