EE's summer sale is offering Apple fans a chance to save £288 on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the most powerful iPhone ever. The mobile network has reduced the monthly price on the 150GB Essentials plan by £8, bringing it from £37 to £29 per month. This saving applies to a 36-month contract when ordered by July 30.
Details of the Deal
The plan includes unlimited UK minutes and texts, plus a faster 5G+ connection with speeds up to 100Mbps. The handset itself costs £35.32 per month, making the total monthly price £64.32, with a £30 upfront fee. This is for the 256GB model, which retails for £1,099 outright from retailers like Amazon. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is available in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, or Silver.
For comparison, Sky Mobile offers the same model with unlimited data at £57 per month plus £12 upfront, but without 5G+ capability.
iPhone 17 Pro Max Features
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is powered by Apple's A19 Pro processor and includes a vapour chamber for cooling. It features a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display and a 48MP Pro Fusion camera system with ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. It can capture high-resolution photos and shoot Dolby Vision video up to 4K. The battery offers up to 14 hours more video playback than the iPhone 15 Pro, according to Apple. It also includes AI features with Apple Intelligence and iOS 26 software, housed in an aluminium body with Ceramic Shield for three times more scratch resistance than the 15 Pro.
Customer Reviews
The iPhone 17 Pro Max has a 4.6-star rating on Amazon. One customer said: “The iPhone 17 Pro has been an amazing phone to use day to day. The screen looks fantastic, and at 120Hz ProMotion, this makes everything feel incredibly smooth. The performance has been excellent, apps open instantly and switching between them is seamless. The A19 Pro chip makes everything feel responsive and stable.” Another shopper noted: “The phone is incredibly fast compared to my iPhone 14 Pro. The camera quality is awesome, and the battery life has also impressed me.” However, the same buyer reported needing to charge it daily: “It still needs to be charged once a day – can’t wait for the day where we can have a battery that will only need charging once every few days.”
