A person has died following an incident at Broad Green station this morning. British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the train station at around 9.30am on Monday, August 10 following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Emergency response
Officers and paramedics attended but sadly the person was pronounced dead at the scene, the force confirmed. A spokesperson for BTP said the incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
