The M25 is closed in Surrey following a serious collision late on Monday evening, with delays expected for motorists travelling to two major airports.
The motorway is shut anti-clockwise between J10 at Wisley and J11 at Chertsey after the crash, which took place at 11.55pm on Monday, August 31. Surrey Police are at the scene, and drivers heading to Heathrow and Gatwick airports have been warned to allow extra travel time as delays are expected.

Traffic caught within the closure is in the process of being released via rearward relief. The incident occurred between J11 near Ottershaw and J10 near Cobham, and police have confirmed a serious collision took place.
