A large fire has broken out in Mincinglake Valley Park in Beacon Heath, Exeter, with 20 fire engines scrambled to tackle the blaze. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said they have received "multiple calls" reporting a grassfire in the park.

Devon Wildlife Trust said in a statement: "We are aware of the fire at our Mincinglake Valley Park. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service are in attendance. Our immediate priority is the safety of people at the site and supporting the official response. We ask people to avoid the area and follow advice from the emergency services."
