Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that the scorching temperatures in the UK have wrecked this year's harvest at his Diddly Squat Farm. The 66-year-old TV presenter took to Instagram over the weekend, posting a screenshot of the BBC weather forecast showing highs of 29C in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, on Sunday, August 9.
Clarkson's blunt message
Alongside the weather image, Clarkson wrote: "Harvest already f****d. May as well just enjoy it now." The post drew an outpouring of support from fans in the comments, with one person writing: "I haven't stopped thinking about all farmers this summer. The countless heatwaves have ruined food production and we're going to be feeling the pinch sooner rather than later."
