The US men's national team will face Canada in an international friendly on Tuesday, looking to extend their winning streak to four games after a 3-0 victory over Mexico on Saturday. A fourth straight win would make this international window a resounding success for Mauricio Pochettino and his players.
Canada's Recent Form
Canada, however, have won their last two encounters with the USMNT and are fresh from back-to-back victories over Chile and Peru. Jesse Marsch's side have good reason to believe they can leave Minnesota with a third successive win.
While this rivalry lacks the ferocity of the one between Mexico and the USA, Canada have more than proven themselves as a member of Concacaf's elite in recent times, with Marsch always keen to make a point to US Soccer after being passed over for the national team job.
Match Details and How to Watch
The match will take place at Allianz Field in St Paul, Minnesota, with kick-off at 8pm ET. In the United States, viewers can watch on FS2 or stream live on Fubo. Canadian viewers can also stream the game on Fubo.
What to Watch For
Pochettino's youthful revolution has re-energised the USMNT after the 2026 World Cup, with prospects such as Cavan Sullivan, Julian Hall and Diego Kochen all showing why they deserve to play an important role in the national team's next cycle. After three games in little over a week, Pochettino is expected to rotate his team, making it difficult to predict the lineup that will take to the field on Tuesday. Nonetheless, the USMNT won't be short of players hoping to make a good impression.
Marsch says Canada "can beat just about anybody." However, the visitors must ensure the transition moments fall in their favor, otherwise the US could blow away another opponent after scoring 11 times in their last three outings.
Player to watch: Cavan Sullivan, USA - The 17-year-old was the star man for the USMNT against Mexico, scoring his first international goal just a few days after making his first international start. Sullivan has shown he is ready to become a key figure for his country.
