At least 12 people have died and several more were left injured after a tourist bus veered off a motorway and plunged into a ditch near Budapest, Hungary. The bus, carrying Polish tourists, overturned after coming off the M3 motorway linking Budapest with the city of Nyíregyháza, according to police.
Rescue operation launched
The incident occurred at about 1am local time on Sunday (12am BST), prompting a large emergency response. An aerial photo taken by drone showed emergency services attending the scene.
