Santa's Steam Train Adventure will run at the Aln Valley Railway in Northumberland this Christmas, with tickets already selling fast. The enchanted experience begins at Lionheart Station near Alnwick, where Mother Christmas and her elves will welcome passengers aboard.
What to Expect on Board
During the journey, Mother Christmas will have a Christmas story book for every child, and Santa himself will move through the train with a gift for every child on his nice list. Children can enjoy a complimentary juice and baked treat plus a bespoke Christmas activity book, while adults can tuck into a mince pie.
Tickets and Pricing
Tickets are priced from £12.50 for infants and £25 each for children and adults. Group bookings and upgrades are also available. Details of the event first emerged in the summer, and it is expected to be one of the most in-demand events in the region this festive season.
