Paddy, a one-year-old domestic shorthair, is searching for a new home after ending up in care at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The cat, who has just one ear, came into the rescue's care through no fault of his own but has yet to find the right owner to love him for who he is.
Different Look, Same Loving Nature
Paddy looks a little different from the other cats in their care after undergoing surgery that left him without part of one of his ears. Despite everything he has endured, Paddy remains a thoroughly happy, playful and affectionate cat, according to delighted staff.
Bursting with the boundless energy typical of a young cat, he absolutely loves throwing himself into playtime, bringing bags of fun and personality wherever he roams. Paddy is equally as loving as he is lively, adoring human company and possessing all the qualities needed to swiftly become the heart and soul of his new family.
A Gentle Side Beneath the Energy
Beneath his boisterous exterior, however, lies a gentler side - Paddy is equally content curling up on a warm lap for a thoroughly deserved nap. Now he is hoping somebody will look beyond his missing ear and recognise the warm, spirited companion he truly is.
Paddy has boundless affection to offer and is eagerly awaiting the chance to experience all the delights of family life - from mischievous kitten capers to cosy cuddle sessions. Battersea is confident he will soon find a devoted owner who will cherish him exactly as he is and provide the bright future he so richly deserves.

It comes as another cat made headlines when becoming one of the most 'unwanted' animals at Battersea after spending 250 days searching for a new home. Bugsy, a domestic shorthair, was brought to the rescue centre in December and has now waited more than eight times longer than the average cat at the dogs and cats home. Staff are now desperately hoping someone will finally give the nine-year-old cat the happy ending he deserves, and insist the lengthy wait has done nothing to diminish his warm and loving nature.
