Cancelled Flights
There are no cancelled flights from Manchester Airport today so far.
The airport is expecting its busiest summer on record, with more than 5.7 million passengers set to fly between July 17 and September 1. This equates to more than 120,000 passengers per day.
Passengers are reminded of strict hand luggage rules, including the 100ml liquid limit. Last month, security confiscated nearly 100 items in one morning, including yoghurt pots, a leg massager, and a gun-shaped whiskey decanter. Parents are advised to check children's 'squishy toys' for hidden liquids, which could be confiscated and cause delays.
