Kenyon Hall Farm's sunflower trail is now open in Croft, Warrington, after a three-year wait. Tickets are priced at £5.95 for adults, £2.05 for children, and under 18 months are admitted free.
Farm attractions and history
The farm, located off Winwick Lane, is run by Tod and Barbara Bulmer with their sons Simon and James. It offers seasonal activities including pumpkin picking, strawberry harvesting, and a disco maize maze.
Sunflower season is short, with fewer than 14 days expected. Tickets are released in batches and sell out quickly, so early booking is advised.
Visiting the trail
The trail is at the back of the farm, past the cafe, tents, strawberry fields, and maze. A short bridge leads into a field of tall sunflowers, with photo opportunities including butterfly wings, picnic tables, a heart-shaped crop circle, and a vantage point.
Visitors cannot pick sunflowers on the trail, but there is a separate patch where they can be picked for £1.99 each. The farm shop and cafe are nearby, and a play area is available for children.
Visitors can expect to spend around an hour at the farm, with the trail itself taking about 20 minutes to walk leisurely.
